Internet Explorer also called IE is a web-browser from Microsoft. A version was also created for the apple Mac. IE was the first web-browser to support CSS with its main rival Netscape choosing to support JavaScript Style Sheets. Even though it was one of the first browsers with CSS support the latest version (version 7) has one of the worst support for it, and parts it does support are often buggy. IE also has no support for SVG. Versions prior to version 7 were integrated with the Windows operating system. Version 7, is separated from the operating system for better security. IE7 also introduced tabbed browsing for the first time, which has been a popular feature in other browsers for a while.
